Apartment Review for Wedgwood Apartments - Raleigh, NC

Lots of college students and retirees on limited incomes here, so there's no incentive for management to put much effort into the building. Several long-term residents have told me that the building has gotten much worse over time. Most units are old and worn with water damage to walls and ceilings, cabinets and fixtures from the 60s. Some apartments apparently have new carpet and cabinets, but there's no difference in price. The real problems here are noise, odor and trash. College students aren't always conscientious about hallway noise and pot smoke drifts through the vents. Trash piles up and overflows every weekend. It just feels more like a dorm than an apartment building.
