Apartment Review for University Village At Raleigh - Raleigh, NC

When I came and looked at U-village they showed me a pretty nice model room and they were pretty friendly. Once I signed the lease it was downhill from there. They lost my rent check about every other month until I started paying online. The apartment I moved into hadn't been cleaned and was overall just a nasty apartment. The electrical outlets were broken, The sinks wouldn't drain, the toilets ran nonstop, etc. We asked them to come clean the carpets and they promised they would but never did. After asking 3 or 4 times we gave up. Parking was always a pain. There are very few visitors spots and they are always full. On top of that the towing is outrageous. I LIVE here and have had my car towed, not to mention all my friends who have been towed. The office staff is completely worthless. I went in one day to talk to them and had to wait at least 5 minutes because somebody had just uploaded some pictures on facebook and all the girls in the office had to look at them and gossip. Maintenance is also pretty crappy. A pipe busted in the apartment next to us and leaked water all over the floor of our kitchen and dining room. We called the office and told them. They came and fixed the pipe but left us to clean up all the water. I could list off 100 reasons not to live at University Village, but I'm sure you get the point.
